The contest "Expressive reading of verses and words of edification of Abai" was held

Abay - the great son of the Kazakh people, poet, talent. The moral life of Abay instills pride in the heart of every Kazakhstani. Each word of Abay is full of instructions and teachings for all who understand. “If you are looking for a proverb, read Abay and do not be afraid,” said the poet S. Toraigyrov. On November 2, at KazUMOiMYA, the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Confucius Institute organized a contest "Expressive reading of verses and words of edification of Abai." The competition was attended by students of Chinese universities in Almaty. Among them are students of KazNU. Al-Farabi, Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Department of Sinology. Students competed in reading the words of edification and the verses of Abai. According to the results of the competition, the 4th and 3rd year students of the specialty “Translation Studies” Onlanova Zhanel and Maksut Aidana took third place, the 2nd year student of the specialty “Oriental Studies” Sovetova Moldir was awarded a special prize.
