On January 15, 2021 year, the 3rd year students of the Department of Chinese Studies organized an evening "Mukagali - eternal life".

This year is the 90th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev (1931–1976). A wonderful event dedicated to the anniversary was held in the special publishing library Chance in Almaty. 

On 05.02.2021 was held an online cultural event "Chinese New Year".                                                                           

02.02.2021 Under the guidance of DuisenbayKulpynay, first-year students visited the bookstore of the special publishing house Shans in Almaty, under the guidance of DuisenbaiKulpinay, a teacher of the Department of Sinology of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi.

On 27.01.2021 year the Silk Road mug organized an event to sing traditional Chinese songs

From November 30, 2020 to January 20, 2021 in Beijing city (China), a competition was held to dub Chinese films and television works among foreigners.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has established cooperation with more than 300 prestigious universities in the world.

From November 30 to December 13, 2020, an online seminar "The Bridge of the Chinese Language" was held.
