On November 22, 2022, the head of the Department of Chinese Studies E.A.  Kerimbayev took part in the conference "5th open class and international seminar on Chinese language teaching" jointly organized by the Confucius Institute at Al-Farabi KazNU and the International Kazakh-Chinese College, and made a report on the topic "Process and problems of Chinese language teaching in Kazakhstan".

On November 22, 2022, the directors of the Confucius Institute at L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University in Astana, Mr. Yang Lei and Mrs. Saule Erdenovyna Koshanova, paid a special visit to the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On November 17, 2022, a 2nd year student of the master's program Zhakay A.K. held a scientific seminar on the topic "Energy cooperation between China and the Republic of Kazakhstan." 

On 14.11.2022, a scientific seminar was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies.  The seminar was attended by teachers of the Department, master's and doctoral students and their scientific supervisors. 

On November 10, 2022, Akylbay Arystanbek, a 3rd year doctoral student in the specialty "Oriental Studies", made a presentation at a scientific seminar.  

On November 9, 2022, Laura Nursultanova, a 2nd-year graduate student of the specialty Oriental Studies, gave a presentation at a scientific seminar.  The topic of the seminar is "Features of the legal regulation of the Internet network and media industry of the PRC".  

 The Confucius Institute of Al- Farabi KazNU is organizing Chinese song and calligraphy competition for students.  

On November 7, 2022, Kules Ainur, a 2nd-year master's student majoring in Oriental Studies, gave a scientific seminar.  The topic of the seminar was "Formation and development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the financial sphere (1992-2022)", including interbank relations between the two countries.
