On January 27, 2023, PhD doctoral student of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Orazov Aidyn on the topic: “ Populations study of rare and endemic species Almond Ledebour (Amygdalus ledebouriana Schltdl.) in conditions of Eastern Kazakhstan" in the specialty "6D061300 - Geobotany". 12 members of the dissertation council, 2 official reviewers, domestic scientific supervisors, Professor of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Mukhitdinov Nashtai and Professor, Ph.D. Turuspekov Yerlan, took part in the defense. Foreign scientific supervisor Professor of the University of Debrecen, PhD Shramko Gabor (Debrecen, Hungary). The defense was successful and the dissertation council unanimously voted for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by 100%.
