Participation of faculty teachers in scientific events

On February 24, 2021, the faculty teachers, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor S.A. Zhakisheva and candidate of historical sciences S.K. Uderbaeva took part in a scientific seminar organized by the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnology. Niccolò Pianciola, Associate Professor of the School of Natural, Social and Human Sciences of Nazarbayev University, made a keynote speech on the topic: "The Great Famine in Kazakhstan: Contextualization, Comparison, Conceptualization". The report analyzed the causes of the great famine in Kazakhstan in 1931-33.
