Online meeting of archivists

 

   

   On April 8, 2020, an online meeting of participants in the subsection of the Project Management Group of the Project Office of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Archival, Documentation and Documentation Support” in the area of ​​training “Journalism and Information” on the development of educational programs based on approved professional standards with the participation of developers was held. The online meetings were attended by: Deputy Head of the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility - G. Dzharasova; project manager of the Center for the Bologna Process and academic mobility - Zhurgenov Zh.S.; Developers of professional standards: Public Association “HR-Managers Association” - Oprya V .; PA "Association of HR Managers" - G. Kaysenova; deputy Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - K. Sh. Alimgazinov; deputy Director of the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan - MG Zhylysbaeva; deputy Director of the Central Archive of Film and Photo Documents and Sound Records of the Republic of Kazakhstan - S. Satayev; Director of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation of the Republic of Kazakhstan - B. Zhumataeva; Director of the Central State Archive of Almaty - A. Botanov.

Participants expressed the unanimous opinion that professional standards reveal the specific activities of specialists located at various qualification levels and connected by a common technological task. At the same time, the description of the requirements for a specialist in professional standards is comprehensive with the use of a more modern design in the form of a combination of requirements for knowledge, skills and competencies, professional experience. The greatest interest was shown by the teachers, since it is on the basis of professional standards that the training of professional competencies is based on which the assessment of competencies depends on the results of education. It was noted that on the basis of market demand, expressed in professional standards and the prospective development of industry personnel, in the end, the number of budget places allocated for the archival sphere as a whole and for a specific educational program in particular is determined.

Issues related to the topic of analysis and comparison of professional standards and educational programs in the specialty were raised earlier at a methodological seminar with the participation of employers. On the agenda of the seminar, the mechanism of orientation of educational programs of universities on professional standards was discussed.

Based on the results of the online meeting, the participants proposed the development and approval of a draft professional standard in the specialty “Archival, documentation and documentation support” by the relevant Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account different skill levels.
