Оn december 4-6, the XVII International scientific conference "Historical research in the context of Data Science: information resources, analytical methods and digital technologies" was held at the faculty of history of Lomonosov Moscow state university. The conference was attended by employees of the department of world history, historiography and source studies S.A. zhakisheva (member of the organizing committee), A.A. Zhunisbayeva, K.Sh. Alimgazinov. The conference covered a wide range of topics: quantitative history and computer modeling of historical processes; computerized analysis of text sources; historical databases and information resources; methods and technologies of network analysis in historical research; historical geoinformatics; 3D reconstruction of objects of historical and cultural heritage; information technologies in archives and museums; digital resources and technologies in professional historical education.
