On March 15, 2021, on the Microsoft Teams platform, the international expert on leadership development, professor of management at Corvinus University (Hungary) Zoltan Buzada Ph.D conducted the excellent master class for students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The topic was building competitiveness of a nation and organizations via creating meaningful work for all employees (the FLOW-mental state).

Within the realization of the program "Rukhani Zhangyru", for the purpose of inculcation of skills of a healthy way of life, prevention of drug addiction and destructive behavior among students, the faculty of international relations of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi organized online meeting of students with a social doctor of the Centre for Prevention and Control of AIDS in Almaty Madina Meshirkyzy, who read a lecture on "Prevention of HIV-infections". The participants of this event were students of the faculty of international relations and faculty of law of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, as well as students of "Logistics" of the University of International Business. This educational event was held in order to explain ways of HIV infection, to increase the level of knowledge about HIV-infection, to introduce the measures of prevention of HIV-infection, to develop positive attitude towards HIV-positive patients.

During the meeting, a representative of the AIDS Center spoke in detail about the ways the virus is transmitted, its properties and development, prevention measures, where it is possible to undergo free screening, and answered all the questions of the students. The students have received a lot of useful and new information about the virus that leads to the development of AIDS, a deadly disease that destroys human immunity. Also, students Kumarova Asem and Abisheva Aruzhan, who showed particular interest, prepared presentations and made presentations on the topic of the online meeting. The most important result of the online event was that each listener concluded that responsible behavior and a healthy lifestyle are the basis of HIV prevention.

HIGH PERFORMANCE OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS OF KAZNU

According to the results of the subject rating "QS World University Ranking by Subject 2021", Al-Farabi Kazakh National University improved its performance and strengthened its position, in which more than 1,200 universities of the world were ranked in five subject areas. Compared to last year, KazNU significantly improved its performance in the subject area "Arts and Humanities", rising from 277 to 156th place, "Social Sciences and Management" from 351 to 257th place.
