On June 08, 2023, the Employers of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies – the Department of Religious Affairs of Almaty presented to the department's fund for use by students in the learning process a methodological manual "On adaptation to traditional values and rehabilitation of adherents of destructive religious movements", developed as part of the state order "Discussion of complex theological issues in Islam, as well as the development of a methodological manual to refute the ideology of destructive religious movements."
On June 2, 2023, the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) held a session on capacity building titled «Prevention of Social Orphanhood in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals» in a hybrid offline/online format.
