On October 20, 2023, a campus tour was organized for the students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University branch in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) in Almaty, KazNU campus. Seventeen students and teachers from our branch came to the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science.

On Oktober 13th, 2023 at the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi held a round table on the topic: “Social integration of internal migrants in Kazakhstan” as a part of the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Settlements) and following the results of a scientific project of grant funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On October 6, 2023, the Seventh International Conference "Sport and Security" was held at the Sports National Academy (Sofia, Bulgaria).
The conference was opened by the Rector of the National Academy of Sciences (Sofia, Bulgaria) and Doctor of Psychological Sciences, psychologist of the Bulgarian national rhythmic gymnastics team - Tatiana Yancheva.
The round table was attended by high-level specialists: the government, the Mayor of Sofia - Yordanka Fandykova, the Minister of Youth and Sports - Daniela Dasheva, the head coaches of the Bulgarian national teams, the presidents of the Bulgarian sports Federations, domestic and international scientific experts in the field of sports and sports psychology, as well as specialists and representatives of security services.
On October 4, 2023, the Department of Sociology and Social Work of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science organized and held an International Round Table on the topic: “Implementation of sustainable development goals in Kazakhstan,” in which Novokshanova N.A. took part. (leading expert of the Secretariat on Sustainable Development Goals of JSC "Institute of Economic Research", Astana), teaching staff, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the department.
Kazakh National University named after. Al-Farabi, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Al-Farabi Center and the Center for Religious Studies and Expertise, together with the Department of Religious Affairs of Almaty, organized a meeting on October 4, 2023 on the topic “Kazakh dalasyndagy ruhaniyat” with the famous religious scholar, theologian, psychologist, chief imam of the mosque “Yryskeldy Kazhi” Nurlan Baizhigituly.
On October 3, in the library of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, the book "Temir Kazyk" was written by authors such as Azamat Jamashev, Ernar Majen, Dorbethan Jomart. The presentation of the monograph "Kazakh jerindegi islam dininin otkeni men bugini" was held.
The doctoral student of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies became the owner of the grant of the Tech Orda program
On September 29, 2023 the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the “Effective Communications Management” training seminar for the students majoring in political science, conflict studies, sociology, as well as cultural and religious studies as a part of the comprehensive programme to promote the UN sustainable development goals. The event is held with the financial support of the Almaty Municipal Public Development Department. The Chairman of the Civil Alliance of Almaty Kairzhan Abdykhalykov and the Political expert Zamir Karazhanov spoke before the participants.
