Doctor PhD, Professor of Kansas State University (USA) Jonathan Mahoney visited the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on Jule 11 , 2022. Professor Mahoney met with the Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Research and Innovation and International Cooperation Alikbayeva Marzhan Bashanovna and Head of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies Kurmanaliyeva Ainura Durbelinovna. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of education, joint scientific research, etc. were discussed.

On May 5, 2022 Doctoral students of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Yerzhanov Yerkebulan, Osserbayev Yeldos, Kurmanbek Akaidar and Kanagatov Manat took part in the international conference “Family values in the culture of the Turkic peoples”, organized by the Department of Culture of Ankara. Professor Ozkul Chobanoglu of Hacettepe University was invited as a lecturer.

On April 20, 2022, Masters students of the specialty "Cultural Studies" of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies visited the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments named after Iklas.

On April 7, 2022, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies hosted an international round table on what philosophy the future new Kazakhstan needs, organized by the Kazakhstan Philosophical Congress and the center «Kazakhstan» of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

On the eve of International Women's Day, the Department of General and Applied Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of KazNU named after Al-Farabi held a round table on the topic: "MODERN WOMAN: EDUCATION, PROFESSION, CAREER."

On January 7, 2022, the senior lecturer of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU Emina Yessekeyeva participated in the international seminar on topic “Gardening the Human Soul” in the framework of the Alternatives Perspectives on Global Challenges program, which is held by the Centre for the Higher Study of Human Rights and Democratic Development & Centre for Critical Thinking (Netherlands/ Canada). 

PhD, Professor of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (USA) Dilshod Achilov arrived at the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies at the Al-Farabi KazNU as part of the international Fulbright program from 01/01/2022 to 05/31/2022.

Within the framework of short-term programs, PhD, Professor of the Mandeville Academy (Netherlands) Henrico Sneller was invited to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Sneller). He gives a course of lectures “Prospects of synchronicity, inspiration, and soul’ and conducts consultations for students from the contingent of students, undergraduates or postgraduates of doctoral students from 04.12.2021 to 31.12.2021 at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies.
