On October 19, 2021, the scientific library of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an international round table on the topic "30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan: prospects for the development of physiological science", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Academician Dyusembin Habdrakhman Dyusembievich.

The round table was held in offline and online formats, taking into account the sanitary regime. The event was organized by the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Dyusembin Khabdrakhman Dyusembievich was born in 1931 in the village of Ushkol, Pavlodar region of the Kazakh SSR - a major Soviet and Kazakh scientist-physiologist, Doctor of Biological Sciences (1971), professor (1985), academician of the Academy of Preventive Medicine of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1995), academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2003).

Academician Dyusebin H. D. - Graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of KazSU and postgraduate studies at the Leningrad Institute of Physiology named after I.P. Pavlova of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1956 he brilliantly defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Reflex inhibition of milk flow".

Professor Dyusembin H.D. is an infinitely devoted person to science, an expert recognized by the world scientific community, speaks at international congresses, congresses and symposiums, author of more than 240 scientific papers, 5 monographs, 3 textbooks, 7 textbooks. Habdrakhman Dyusembievich has a scientific school on the physiology of lactation, has trained 21 candidates and 3 doctors of biological and medical sciences.

Khabdrakhman Dyusembievich does not ignore the public life of Kazakhstan - he is an advisor to the International Association of Medical Doctors of Asian Countries (AMDA) and the president of its Kazakhstan branch since 1999, he was awarded high departmental and state awards.
