Postdoctoral student of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics Taipakova Sabira Myktybekkyzy was awarded a state scientific scholarship in 2020 by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 542 dated December 25, 2020 (https://egemen.kz/article/259812-qazaqstan-respublikasy-bilim-dgane-ghylym-ministrininh-2020-dgylghy-25-dgeltoqsa).

This scholarship is awarded to talented young scientists actively involved in fundamental and applied research in priority areas for the state. Taipakova S.M. is a graduate of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. In 2011 she graduated from her doctoral studies and defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty "6D060700-Biology", the program "Genetics" on the topic "Molecular cloning and optimization of gene expression of fungal thermostable cellulolytic enzymes." The scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor in the field was awarded by Order No. 360 of 10.04.2012.

Taipakova S.M. has 12 years of experience in research work in the field of biochemistry and enzymology, the results of which have been published in more than 70 scientific journals, including articles in highly rated journals included in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Her research interests include yeast genetic engineering, DNA repair enzymology, and cell signaling. She takes an active part in personnel training, under her guidance bachelors and undergraduates study.

Taipakova S.M. is a scholarship holder of the state scientific scholarship for talented young scientists in 2014, “The best young scientist of KazNU. al-Farabi "2015, as well as a fellow of the international scholarship" Bolashak "2016-2017.
