Scholarships named after Maya Khazhetinovna Shigaeva

On April 16, 2018 at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University the ten best students of the Department were awarded with annual nominal scholarships named after Maya Khazhetinovna Shigaeva, a well-known scientist of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Biology, Professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the solemn ceremony the best students were given the personal certificates and material encouragement. This year the scholarship named after Maya Khazhetinovna Shigaeva was presented by the doctor of biological sciences, professor Kanayev Ashimhan Toktasynovich.
