On November 13, 2023, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, at the request of the private school “INNOVERSE TALDYQORGAN”, held an Open Day with the students of this school and introduced graduates to the campuses and museums of the university.

     Senior curator Abenov B. and associate professors Mausumbekova S., Eraliev A.K. and teacher Serik A., who met the students in the Red Hall of the faculty building, immediately began their professional orientation.

        Applicants were provided with complete information about the history, structure, educational programs, levels of study, achievements in the field of scientific and international cooperation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as cultural and social services and benefits provided to students, work on organizing students’ leisure time, principles of their self-government.

     The moderators answered questions from school graduates, talked about the Farabi library, the Palace of Students, the health camp in Issyk-Kul, the swimming pool named after D. Balandin, sports and recreation complex, Student Service Center “Keremet”, academic policy, “Univer” system, work of curators. At the end of the meeting, the students visited these objects and got acquainted with the Al-Farabi Museum.
