This academic year marks the 90th anniversary of the formation of Al-Farabi KazNU. For the significant anniversary, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics began to organize historical and educational meetings. The first of them took place in the Red Hall on October 28, 2023 (Saturday) at 13:00 under the title “Getting to know a person - getting to know a country.” The guest of the evening is a great teacher, a representative of the older generation, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the International Khorezm Prize of the first degree, scientist, organizer of science and higher education in Kazakhstan, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor BILIYEV Nazarbai Kydyruly.

      At this wonderful educational and moral meeting, organized by teachers, staff and students, a student of a teacher, scientist, and acting. Professor G.E. Abduakhitova made an interesting report about the life, activities and scientific achievements of the hero, as well as professor-colleague academician following in his footsteps: M.B. Tulegenova, N. Makhmedzhanov, T.Zh. Eldesbai expressed their warm wishes. The students asked the academician questions and received complete answers. At the end of the event, Professor N.K. Bliev was put on a cap and presented with a letter of gratitude and books.
