On September 20-23, 2023, the Mathematical Society of the Turkic World (TWMS) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Turkestan region and the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H. A. Yasavi (MKTU) was held the VII World Congress of Mathematicians of the Turkic World (TWMS Congress-2023).

    The main purpose of the Congress is to expand international relations and scientific cooperation of scientists, to promote the development of mathematical science and the application of the achievements of mathematics, information technology in scientific research, engineering and education.

    The teaching staff of the Department of Computational Sciences and Statistics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Shakenov Kanat, Kasenov Syrym, Temirbekov Almas, Zhumali Ainur and Tamabay Dinara made presentations at the VII World Congress of Mathematicians of the Turkic World (TWMS Congress-2023), which was held in Turkestan from September 20 to 23, 2023 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of Turkestan region and the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H. A. Yasavi (MKTU).

    A group of scientists from 21 countries actively exchanged knowledge and experience. A tour of the historical sights of Turkestan was also organized as part of the congress.
