Minister of Education Askhat Aimagambetov met with teachers-coaches of the National Robotics Team of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Askhat Aimagambetov met with teachers-coaches of the National Robotics Team of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asylbek Myrzakhmetov and Nurdaulet Dosmagambet. The minister congratulated his colleagues on the victory of students at the World Robotics Championship FIRST GLOBAL CHALLENGE – 2022 in Switzerland. This Robotics Championship is one of the most prestigious in the world. Victory will allow students to enter the world's leading universities. They competed with peers from 167 countries around the world and scored the most points. For three days, the students held 16 game competitions, none of them lost the competition and set a record for the number of points. In addition to the first place in the Championship, the national team of Kazakhstan won the al-Khwarizmi gold medal "for excellent support" for teams from other countries, as well as a special award JUDGES AWARD for the best engineering solutions in robot development.

The coaches spoke about the preparation for the Championship and proposals from representatives of Indonesia, Montenegro, Iceland, Peru and Lebanon regarding the preparation of teams from these countries for next year's Championship.

 

"We have a very dynamic development of the robotics industry. At the same time, the receipt of such proposals speaks of the results of our work and the high position of Kazakhstan in the field of robotics. It was joyful and unexpected that the minister immediately called and personally congratulated the children. Many schoolchildren in our country are passionate about this direction. Robotics classrooms are opening in schools. I am glad that the ministry supports the involvement of students in robotics and develops this movement," Nurdaulet Dosmagambet shared.

 

Nurdaulet Dosmagambet is a 2nd year doctoral student of Al-Farabi kaznu on the educational program"robotic systems". Engaged in scientific research in the field of educational robotics and parallel manipulators.

 

It should be noted that the coaches of the national team intend to further develop robotics in Kazakhstan. Together with the minister of education and science, they discussed further work in this direction. Askhat Aimagambetov supported the holding of a large international robotics competition in 2023.
