According to the order No. 391 of al-Farabi Kazakh National University dated November 20, 2020, Aidarkhan Kaltayev awarded the silver medal “For significant work in the development of Al-Farabi KazNU
Aidarkhan Kaltaev graduated the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kirov State University in 1973 with a degree in mechanics.
From 1975 to 1978, he was a post-graduate student of S. M. Kirov Kazakh State University, majoring in mechanics.
In 1984 he defended his PhD thesis, in 1999 – his doctoral thesis.
From 2008 to 2010-Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of KazNU.
Coordinator of the Kazakh-French Center for joint training of masters and doctors in geoenergy.
Is a grant holder:
• International Science and Technology Center (ISTC-ISTC, 1998, 2002, 2003),
• German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD, 2004 and 2008),
• "Best teacher of Universities in Kazakhstan", MES RK, 2006, 2011
