The joint project of the Academy of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) HAINA (Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy) is the result of a fruitful collaboration between KazNU and Huawei. At present, the Academy’s material and technical base has been created: the company equipped the class with all the necessary IT equipment for conducting classes, provided the opportunity to certify the best students of the course.

The new format academy will allow our graduates to become highly qualified specialists in the field of IT, digital technologies and telecommunications. It is worth noting that Huawei trained and incurred all the costs associated with the certification of two teachers for the HAINA-KazNU Academy.

“Work on the project of the Academy of Information and Communication Technologies on the basis of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of KazNU has been carried out since 2017,” said vice-rector for academic affairs Askar Hikmetov at the opening ceremony. - Since then, a lot has been done. Huawei has equipped a class for classes, held an olympiad, inviting students of KazNU to participate, and other events. On the basis of the academy, students will be able to gain practical skills that will be useful to them in the future while working in leading telecommunication companies. The opening of the Huawei Academy will give a new impetus to the training of highly qualified personnel.

In the future, it is planned to organize regular practice for the most successful and talented students of the Academy on the basis of Huawei headquarters in the city of Almaty and in the branches of the company's partners.
