At the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 85th anniversary of the Department of Mechanics, in connection with the 95th anniversary of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sh. A. Ershin and with the participation of famous mechanics of the Republic of Kazakhstan solemnly an auditorium named after academician Sh.A. Ershin was opened!

The team of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi KazNU took part in the II Republican Robotics Championship among universities "ETU Robocon 2021", having won the third prize.

This year 551 students applied for the Olympiad. The Olympiad started simultaneously in Nursultan, Aktau, Aktobe, Pavlodar and Almaty.

1st year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, KazNU named after Al-Farabi Azil Zamanbek with the Smart Greenhouse project took 3rd place at the UpGrade exhibition of innovative ideas.

The monograph is written on the basis of the results of the author's fundamental scientific research on integral equations, boundary value problems of ordinary and integro-differential equations, the theory of controllability and optimal performance, the theory of extreme problems, the stability of solving equations with differential inclusions.

The first graduates of space specialties come to work at the enterprises of Kazcosmos.

Meeting with academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Mukhtarbay Otelbayev was held at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, observing all sanitary requirements.
