Sharipova A. B. held a webinar on the topic: "Analysis of tools and platforms necessary for distance learning with students", the students were invited to the faculty of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, Criminalistics, Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event aroused great interest among the audience. With the help of slide presentations at the webinar, the issues of various platforms that are currently popular and relevant among students for distance learning were considered.
The following platforms were considered::
1. Skype is a communication service that allows you to call, text, and share files-all for free. Skype is used by millions of people every day, including for collaboration.
2. Google Meet is a business-oriented version of the Google Hangouts platform, which is suitable for companies of any size and allows you to conduct video conferences, remote interviews, webinars, virtual trainings, remote interviews.
3. Google Duo is a free video and audio call app created by Google, similar to Apple's FaceTime, Facebook's WhatsApp or Messenger, and Microsoft's Skype.
4. Yandex.Teleconference is a video call service that you can join without registering. Allows you to organize business video conferences.
5. Proficonf is a service for conducting video conferences, online meetings and webinars in real time.
6. Webinar is a platform for organizing webinars and video conferences. It allows you to effectively transfer knowledge and experience, achieve maximum conversion, analyze traffic, communicate online and work together.
7. GoToMeeting is a service for organizing large-scale demonstrations, video conferences, presentations, online meetings with colleagues and brainstorming. It is an easy-to-use service for audio and video conversations and screen sharing.
8. FreeConferenceCall is a free conference tool with features such as audio and video recording, screen sharing, call recording, instant messaging, and integration with Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar.
9. Hangouts are group chats for communicating with friends and colleagues. The peculiarity is that you can immediately see who has read the message, and who is already writing a response.
10. iSpring Online is a web-based system for organizing a full cycle of distance learning, posting courses, assigning them to users, and accessing detailed statistics. The service allows you to place courses and tests in the cloud, supports audio, video and documents, can send out invitations and measure the effectiveness of training.
As practice has shown, modern technologies have made online training as accessible as possible for users - as a rule, the participant needs a computer and a stable Internet.
