Student scientific club “Expert Criminalist” conducts normative and organizational research not only on theoretical and practical foundations of criminal law, criminal procedure and criminology, but also in other areas of criminal law.
Objectives of the Student scientific club “Expert Criminalist”:
* Theoretical research in forensic science;
* Comparative analysis of domestic and foreign legislation;
* Comparisons of the practical application of criminal law;
* Identification of shortcomings in the criminal procedure legislation and proposals for their prevention;
* Holding competitions, trainings and tournaments for in-depth study of criminology;
* Holding practical games to get a full understanding of the subject matter;
* Preparation of speech to demonstrate the results on the selected topic, as well as the nomination of their own themes for the development of forensic science.
Tasks of the Student Scientific Club “Expert Criminalist”:
* holding special conferences on actual issues to improve students’ knowledge;
* conducting the National Inter-University competitions;
* conducting special trainings for the development of practical abilities of students;
* conducting methodological seminars for meetings with the staff of the center for forensic medicine.
* organization of meetings of students with law enforcement officers.
Student club “Expert Criminalist” began its activities in August 2014 according to the approved plan of the Dean of the Faculty.
