The Opening Ceremony of the Turkish Week
The Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Turkology is organizing an annual Turkish Week from the 11th to the 15th of March, 2019. The peculiarity of this Turkish Week is that the events are organized by the foreign teachers of our department.
The opening of the Turkish Week was held on March 11, in 457 room. Senior teacher from the Republic of Turkey, Selenay Baloglu, has opened the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony has began with the presentation of the national dishes of the Turkish people, organizers explained various types of national cuisine and the features of treating them to the guests. Dean of the faculty Y.Paltore, head of the department of Turksoy T.Kydyr and other teaching staff and students of the department took part in the solemn meeting.
Organizers of the event were senior lecturers of the department of Turksoy, Selenay Baloglu, Ceren Kabadayi and Nazym Kairanbayeva.
