Event on the 100th anniversary of the national flag of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic
On November 9, Department of Turksoy of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Almaty held a solemn event to the 100th anniversary of the national flag of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
The guests, Consul, Representative Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan Mr. Rzaev R.A., Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Y.Paltore, Director of Iran-Turan Center Jemeney I., Head of the Department Turksoy Kydyr T. E., Chairmen of the Azerbaijanis Association Hamedov A.M., Director of the cultural center of Azerbaijan Osman A. A., director of the cultural center of Uzbekistan Uzbekov A. made congratulatory speeches.
At the end of the event documentary film was produced with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation ‘Komandirovka dlinoyu v jizn’ was presented. The film was welcomed warmly by the audience.
