Evening of Traditional Music of Turkic peoples
On October 20, 2018, an evening of culture of Turkic peoples was held in the framework of the III International Festival of Documentary Films of the Turkic world, organized by the staff of the Turksoy Department at the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi.
The event was attended by Ahmet Dagduran, Director of the Cultural Fund of Turkic Peoples, President of the Federation of Journalists of Turkic-speaking Countries Menderes Demir, President of the Federation of Journalists of Turkey Yilmaz Karadzha, art historian Temel Shahin, Sadyrbek Turdubekuly, Atilla Guven, Oguz Ege Saraoglu and Mohammad Talebpourazad. Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Y.Paltore expressed his gratitude to the guests from Turkey and representatives of the cultural center of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and the Crimean Tatars.
At the traditional music festival, representatives of the cultural centers of the Turkic peoples of Turkey and Almaty sang songs in their languages and gave the audience a positive mood. The singers and poets of the evening demonstrated the importance of the spiritual values of the Turkic people.
