Week of Turkish
During the period from 16th to 20th April of 2018 Department Turksoy of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh National Unıversity named after Al-Farabi organized the Week of Turkey. There was contest of the essays on the following topics “The actual problems of the modern society in the eyes of Youth”, “The real friendship is proven in trouble”, “Turkey and Kazakhstan are brother countries” held on the first day of the named event. Students of the 1-3 courses joined to the contest of the essays by expressing their thoughts in Turkish. Accordinly to the results of the contest among 2-3 courses following students became the winners: 1 rank - student of the 2 course of the branch “5B021000 – foreign philology” Sheraly Azhar, 2 rank – student of the 2 course of the branch “5B021200 – turkology” Kurmangaliyeva Aiaulym, 3 rank – student of the 2 course of the branch “5B021000 – foreign philology” Zhumakeldina Madina. Among 1 course the winner are: 1 rank – student of the branch “5B020900- oriental studies” Izimova Assel, 2 rank – student of the branch “5B020700 – translation studies” Seidaly Alina, 3 rank student of the branch “5B02100 – foreign philology” Parmen Symbat. All winners were rewarded by Diplomas.
