The "Spiritual renewal" program of the President of Kazakhstan, which provides for the national and spiritual revival of the Kazakh people, is in line with the work that TURKSOY made at the international level.

 In the first days of spring, the Al-Farabi University Faculty of Oriental Studies held a round table  the highly respected Kaisyn Kuliev, in honor of his work "The Great Poet of the Turkic People". The event was held on behalf of the international organization TURKSOY. With the participation were the leaders and members of the ethno-cultural organization of the Turkic peoples at the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, public figures, representatives, teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

The round table was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Doctor of Philology, Yktiyar Paltore Moldotoreuli: "Dear intellectuals, dear guests, students, welcome to today's meeting! Teaching Turkic languages ​​at the faculty of the department of Turksoy, is one of the important. In the era of globalization, it is necessary to strengthen  Turkic nations. Students understand each other language  without an interpreter. Today's event is dedicated to the work of Kaisyn Kuliyev, a prominent figure of the Balkar people, a "world poet". I think  the students who have gathered today will receive great spiritual development. Today the International Organization for the Development of Turkic Culture and Art is functioning. Kazakhstan is one of the founding states. For many years this organization was headed by the former Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan Duisen Kaseinov. A representative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Orientalist Askar Turganbaev, came from Ankara to this event. Expressing gratitude to  Askar Turganbayevich, who was responsible for holding such an event at our faculty, we give our first speech.

Representative of Kazakhstan in TURKSOY Askar Turganbaev:

"Dear Yktiyar Moldotoreuli,  dear guests, students! The aim of TURKSOY is to establish friendly relations between Turkic-speaking peoples and ethnic groups, as well as study  of the common Turkic culture, language, history, art, traditions. The theme of the round table will be Kaisyn Kuliev, "world poet". In November of last year, the 100th anniversary of poet was celebrated in Nalchik. This event continued and was held in Baku on December 7-8, recently in Kyrgyzstan.

We brought two books by K. Kuliev.

After that two books titled "These Mountains Stand", "Tengri's sword"  was presented.

Then professor Ahmet Dagduran, poet Galym Zhailibay, professor Dandai Iskakuly, professor A. Khamraev, scientist Adilgazy Kairbek told about poet  many interesting facts .

At the end of the evening students read Kuliev's poems. Guests visited the Oriental Museum of the Faculty. The students took to photo in the end.
