Evening of poetry of the Turkish people
On March 30, 2016 Department of TURKSOY Faculty of Oriental Studies of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Kazakh jointly with the National Library held an evening of poetry of the Turkish people. Department of TURKSOY Students read poems of the great poets of Turkey, as well as translations of these poems in the Kazakh language. On the evening of the Kazakh people poets who translated works of Turkish literature were invited. The purpose of this event is to deepen cultural and spiritual exchange between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
