ONLINE CONFERENCE DEVOTED TO CAREER GUIDANCE
On 13.01.2023 the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized an online conference for career guidance (professional orientation work) with graduates of secondary schools and gymnasiums in Kazakhstan.
The students, school principals, deputy principals for educational work took part in the online conference.
The online conference was opened by Em Natalya Borisovna, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Amirbekova Umitay, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies for Educational and methodological work made a speech about the structure of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, educational programs of the faculty and employment opportunities of the graduates thoroughly.
The instructors of the faculty made speeches about the educational programs of their departments, and the students spoke about the student life and benefits of studying at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
Kurmanali Altynshash Arystanbekkyzy, PhD, Associate professor and responsible and for the career guidance of the Department of Turksoy, made a speech for graduates of secondary schools and gymnasiums about the teaching staff and international cooperations of the Department of Turksoy, the privileges of studying in the educational programs taught in the department, partner universities, internship bases, employment opportunities of the graduates.
4th year student of the educational programme «6В02207- Oriental Studies» Kozybayeva Aiym told about student life, the benefits of studying Turkish and internship programmes at the universities in Turkey.
At the end of the conference the instructors of the faculty replied the students’ questions.
