The purpose of the event: To discuss the problems of lack of energy sources, the searchfor cheap renewable energy sources, to develop a sense of involvement in solving the globalproblems of the energy crisis and the search for renewable energy sources in Kazakhstan.The students prepared a presentation dedicated to discussing the problems associatedwith the depletion of natural energy sources, the search for renewable environmentally friendlyenergy sources, the production of biofuels on the example of the production of bioethanol,biogas, biodiesel, the development of these fields of activities in Kazakhstan.The students told about the importance of various types of energy in the life of thepopulation of each country and the world as a whole. They gave the concept of renewable energysources, such as solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy. They talked about geothermal energy asone of the types of "green energy", about the ways to obtain it. They told about the methods ofobtaining bioethanol, which is an alternative type of liquid clarified fuel for gasoline engines.They told about Kazakhstan's losses in biofuels, about two existing bioethanol production plantsin Kazakhstan - in Zhambyl and North Kazakhstan regions. They covered the topic of obtainingbiodiesel, which is an alternative type of fuel for diesel engines, about the advantages anddisadvantages. Biogas took a special place in the report, they talked about biogas plants, theirstructure, and the technological cycle. They told about successful projects for generatingelectricity from organic waste in Kazakhstan.
