Meeting of "Tarzhimanclub" club of young translators
On December 5, 2020, "Tarzhimanclub" club of young translators organized an evening of translators at the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Head of the club Laila Musaly, advisers Adiliya Alimbayeva, Rauana Turekhanova, and 1-4 year students of Translation Studies attended the event. Having summed up the results of 2020, a report on the activities carried out this academic year was presented. The chairman of the club a 4th-year student Dana Kairzhanova received a letter of recognition from the department for the good performance of her duties.
4th-year students of Translation Studies sent their advice to our freshmen via video, Akniyet Kurmanbekkyzy , a 2nd-year student of Translation Studies, was appointed the new chairman of the club. In her turn, Akniyet said that she has many plans for the future. The teachers outlined the results of the event, which was attended by future translators, noted that translation is an interesting and difficult job, and wished the youth success.
