Radio "Al-Farabi" is a student radio station at the Kazakh National University. The Young Radio Journalists' Club now has a large number of students, even in the midst of the pandemic, who broadcast online. Most of them are first year students, and now some are sophomores. Radio "Al-Farabi" broadcasting of KazNU news is the main product of the circle of radio journalists. The creative director of the radio is Klara Kabylgazina, the sound engineer is Bakhyt Amirbek.

Kazakh and Russian groups broadcast on the radio. The students broadcast in Kazakh three days a week, that is, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while the Russian groups work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Broadcasting is carried out on a variety of programs. Editors also track, fix bugs, validate scripts, and help to voice programs.

In addition, the members of the circle participate in scientific research in radio journalism. This is evidenced by the fact that members of the circle have priority at scientific conferences. We are also establishing creative relations with the republican Kazakh radio. This is evidenced by the recent signing of a joint memorandum between the rector G. Mutanov and the director of Kazakh Radio JSC.

Journalists of Radio "Al-Farabi" prepare and broadcast news from KazNU, as well as feature programs. This is evidenced by the following examples:
