In order to implement the tasks set in the program article of the President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev “Looking into the future: modernization of public awareness”, the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi holds a lot of educational activities.

The Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology, the Department of History of Kazakhstan organized a meeting on the theme “Zhyr-anyz dastury: otkenmen men zhangyruy”, with the guest of honor, one of the best journalists of Kazakhstan journalism, who restored aytys Suyunbay and Kattagan, laureate "Kurmet", winner of the "Information Industry" award, a veteran of the Kazakh Radio Koyshygul Mustafaevich.

The meeting was initiated by the Dean of the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assoc. Professor M.S. Nogaybayeva. The guests of the event were a prominent republican scientist, Professor T.O. Omarbekov, Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Professor B. B. Karibayev, Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan B. Saylan, Deputy Head of Department, Associate Professor E.N. Noyanov and PhD Dr. M.Baidavletova. The first year students of the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology and the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management participated.
