National traditions: modernity and future

In order to implement the tasks set in the programmatic article of the President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev «Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity», on October 23, 2018, the Department of History, Archeology and Ethnology, together with the Public Association of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, held a round table on the topic «National traditions: modernity and future».

During the round table, the participants were head of the department of archeology, ethnology and museology Omarov G.K., doctor of philology, professor Nurgheldy Uali, doctor of philology, professor Rustembek Shoybekov, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor of Islamic University Nur-Mubarak Dosymbek Katran, Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Kalshabaeva B.K., Associate Professors of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology Baudiyarova K.B, Egizbaeva M.K., Associate Professor of Asfendiyarov KazNMU Duisenova K., as well as graduate students of faculty, analyzed the role and place of national traditions in the lives of the Kazakh people, they discussed the position, an exchange of views on the problems of continuity of national traditions at the present stage.

The purpose of the round table was the importance of analyzing the role of national traditions in the life of Kazakh society, instilling the values ​​of spirituality and morality in the younger generation, as well as reviving and promoting the original values ​​and traditions of their own culture for modern society.
