On October 31, 2017, the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies heard a report on the subject "Japanese historiography on the study of Central Asia" by the student of the Tokyo University, Hideyuki Naganuma, from Tokyo University. The faculty of the department was very interested in the report of Hideyuki Naganuma, many questions were asked on the topic of his research, a fruitful discussion was held.
