The results of sensational discoveries of scientists of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were presented at the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University. The exhibition entitled "The Gold of the Great Steppe" featured exhibits found as a result of archaeological research by famous scientists, professors of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zainolla Samashev and Abdesh Toleubayev. Within 4 months, residents of the UK and all visitors to the museum will have access to unique exhibits, which are already called an "international archaeological sensation".

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in cooperation with the Russian State University for the Humanities and the Archives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan annually holds a Summer School for young archivists from the CIS countries. The traditional summer school for young archivists from the CIS countries will be held for the first time via videoconference from June 21 to 23, 2021.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on June 22, 2021 will conduct the international scientific and theoretical conference: "The Golden Horde: at the crossroads of civilizations", dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the formation of the Golden Horde.

The conference will examine the place and role of the Golden Horde in world history and discuss modern conceptual approaches to its study.  

On May 4, 2021 at 10:00 on the Zoom platform, an educational event was held for the 1st year undergraduate students of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Dzhienalieva Kamshat - an online tour of the Museum of Almaty on the topic: "The history of one city." Heads of teaching practice: Dzholdybaeva U.M., Uderbaeva S.K.

December 3-5, 2020 Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Uderbaeva S.K. took part in the International Scientific Conference "People of the Empire - Empire of People: Personal and Institutional History of the Asian Outskirts of Russia", dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Professor A. V. Remnev (Omsk) and made a presentation on the topic: "Visual biographical documents - photo albums and photography as a source in biographical research ”.

Members of the circle "Zhas tarikhshy" 4th year students Nurzhigit Adigineev and Edil Zhakbyrbay under the leadership of the candidate of historical sciences Uderbayeva Saule Karibaevna took part in the International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi". Zhakbyrbai Edil was awarded a diploma and got the 2nd place in his section. Adigineev Nurzhigit received a certificate of participation.
