November 5, 2017 students of the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology visited the complex of petroglyphs "Tamgaly" organized by the club "Archaeologist" of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology within the project "Ainalandy Nurlandyr"

On November 4, a training seminar "In Unity Force" was held, dedicated to unity and tolerance. Often it is difficult for us to find the language and understand other people. At the curatorial hour they learned to build relationships with those who are not like us.

3rd-year students in the specialty Library science organized a book exhibition on the theme "Modernization of the legal and human resources development platform of Kazakhstan libraries" on the project "Ainalady nurlandyr", under the program of the Leader of Nation N. Nazarbayev "View in future: modernization of public consciousness" in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  the hall named by  N. Dauletova.

On November 3, 2017 the International Fair of Education 2017 was held, in which teachers and students of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies took part.

On October 31, 2017, the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies  heard a report on the subject "Japanese historiography on the study of Central Asia" by the student of the Tokyo University, Hideyuki Naganuma, from Tokyo University.

Meeting with Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Institute of History named after Sh. Mardzhani, Republic of Tatarstan, Zagidullin Ildus Kotdusovich (Kazan)

Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies on October 26, 2017 at 10.00, organized a lecture of the professor of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, long-term observer of the OSCE bureau, A. L. Kobrinsky, on the topic: "OSCE Mission for Election Observation in the OSCE participating States of Europe and Central Asia." The lecture was attended by teachers of the department, doctoral students, undergraduates, students. The professor shared his rich experience in participating in the OSCE mission, the meeting participants discussed debatable issues of modern history of Kazakhstan and Russia.

As part of the project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the company, "Astana Motros" provided free access to the Museum of Arts named after A. Kasteev visited the exhibition "My Armenia", which presents works of Armenian artists from the collection of the museum
