In the city of Shymkent, Turkestan region, an educational and patriotic event “Time has chosen us” was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. The veterans of the Afghan war of the Turkestan region took part in this meeting. In the regional museum of fine art, an exhibition called “the world is filled with wonders” has opened. On this day, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the end of the Afghan war, the Quran was read, as well as veterans recalled the litigation of the Afghan war.

In honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, in the Central House of Culture in the village of Kazygurt, Kazygurt district of the South Kazakhstan region, a patriotic event was held in memory of the Afghan fire. Akimat of the region, school board and veterans of the Afghan war took part in this meeting. The participants of the event were given a lecture on the history of the Afghan war, told about the bloody tragedy of this war.
