The program of social talk show "Qareqet" was attended by teachers, professors and students of the 1st and 2nd course of the Department of History of Kazakhstan. In the course of the talk show, Abulkhair Khan, the commander, Khan the Younger Khan, who ruled for more than a quarter of a century, was discussed.

From 11 till 13 January at Institute Training within the round table on the theme: «the development of social and cultural practices in Central Asia: history and modernity» was held.

Director of Institute, prof., d.h.s., Z.E. Kabuldinov, c.h.s., docent A.S. Ualtaeva, c.h.s., docent Smagulov B.K., PhD students F. Lebayev and E. Kurkeev, representatives of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (N. Isaeva, G. Bilyalova), as well as scientists from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan (Z. Madamidzhanova, etc.) participated in the training.

Training participants both group and individual assignments carried out, the basis of that training were text materials developed by scientists of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Assignments included identification of problems of ecology and economy of the Central Asia countries and proposal ways to solution identified the problem using scientific methods («Fish» method of Fishbone and ect.), analysis wide range of issues, involved in traditional culture of the Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Tajik peoples.

As a result of training was identified the thematic content of the special course for MA students, includes three main sections: «History», «Ecology» and «Economy». The course is expected to practical implementation since 14.01.2019.

 At Ch.Ch.Valikhanov Institute of history and ethnology the meeting with professor Hacettepe University in Ankara (Turkey) Mehmet Dervish Kilinchkaya was held. The event was attended by director of Institute, d.h.s., professor Kabuldinov Z.E., deputy director, c.h.s. Borbasov S.M., deputy director, c.h.s. Shashaev A.K., scientific secretary, phd in history Kozybaeva M.M., chief research fellow, c.h.s., professor Alimbai N., head of department  ethnology and anthropology, c.h.s. Orynbaeva G.U., lead research fellow Rustemov S.K. and etc.

During the meeting the parties discussed the possibility of publishing articles of the Institute’s staff. At the present time in the Journal еру the articles in Turkish and English on the history of Turkey and neighboring countries announced. Also parties discussed the possibility of concluding a memorandum for future cooperation, internships for M.A. and Phd students of the Institute.

at the Ch.Ch.Valikhanov Institute of history and Ethnology of Committee of science MES of Republic of Kazakhstan was held round table: «Development of social and cultural practice in Central Asia: history and modernity», within implementation of the project Aga Khan «Human studies». The round table was attended by scientists of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The session opened with a welcome address by the director of the Ch.Ch.Valikhanov Institute of history and ethnology, professor Kabuldinov Z.E. and director of the project Aga Khan «Human studies» of the University of Central Asia Shozimov Pulat Davronovich (Tajikistan).

The authors prof. Kabuldinov Z.E., Madamidzhanova Z. (Tajikistan), prof. Mokeev A. (Kyrgyztan) made presentations on the current status of the project on the development of material section «History». Professor Bilalova G. (Kazakhstan) informed of the analysis of the material and conceptual index (case study, pedagogical methodology).

The writings on the development of material section «Ecology» listened to the report of the authors prof. Shukurova E. (Kyrgyzstan), Kabutova K. (Tajikistan), prof. Yashchenko R. (Kazakhstan).

The report on the development of material section «Economy» of the authors prof. Lailiyeva E. (Kyrgyzstan), prof. Ahmed – Zaki D. (Kazakhstan), prof. Umarova H. (Tajikistan) was interesting.

The outcome of the round table strategy and ways of implementation Master Course at the Institute of History and Ethnology Ch.Ch. Valikhanov from 14.01.2019 were determined.

On 25 December, 2018 at small conference-hall of «Gylym ordasy» was held the conference on the theme: «Academician Akay Nusupbekov and revival of national history of Kazakhstan» within the framework VI-Nusupbekov’s readings. The conference was attended by eminent scientists, public figures, veterans of the Institute, mass-media representatives, as well as Phd ans M.A. students. The opening remarks were delivered by K.S. Aldazhumanov, Zh.K. Abylhozhin, M.K.Abuseitova, T.O.Omarbekov, C.K.Oteniyazov, A.I.Kudaibergenova and etc. In the process of conference Nusupbekov Suyunduk Akaiuly awarded the Master’s degree students of 2 courses Zhanuzak R. and Otar A. scholarship on behalf of A.Nusupbekov as the best Master’s degree students of the Institute. At the end of the conference, noted the importance of scientific heritage of academician in kazakh science, conference participants under resolution made the following decisions:

* Further research of scientific heritage of academician A. Nusupbekov and other eminent scientists, wich have made a relevant contribution to historian science of Kazakhstan

* Advocate for mass-media, as well as in other modern forms of communication current issues of history of Kazakhstan of Soviet period.

* Establish annual scholarships on behalf of the Akai Nusupbekov to the best students and M.A. students of history departments

* Release a compilation of materials of this conference

* Assign the name of academician A.Nusupbekov to boardroom of Institute and arrange in the form of a memorial cabinet

 In National library of Republic of Kazakhstan was held presentation of writings «Bokeikhan A.Shyg’armalary – Essay». 15 tome. – Astana: «Alashorda» Kogamdyk kory, 2018» in Kazakh and in Russian and encyclopedia «Alikhan Bokeikhan». The presentation was organized of Ch.Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology. Sultan Khan Akkuly Zhusup – scientist, director of «Alash» Institute of science and research, informed the public about the process and stages of the publication of this collection and encyclopedia. Veteran scientist Shalekenov and historian-Alasad Koigeldiev M.K. gave congratulatory speech, expressed their ideas on the books, dedicated to Bokeikhan.

At the same time, the doctor of philological sciences Zhubaeva Orynai Sagyngalievna presented to the public several of her works, told about their benefit and influence on the formation of modern society. Intellectuals from various educational and scientific institutions participated in the event, which also shared their impressions about the new editions.

On 13 December, 2018 in the conference-hall «Gylym ordasy» was held the event – «Independence – main value», dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event, the report of activities undertaken in 2018 to the public and on tasks for 2019 of the Ch.Ch.Valikhanov Institute of history and ethnology was heard, also were presented the books of the director of the Institute Z.E.Kabuldinov «Sultanmamet: statesman, diplomat and batyr» and «History of Astana», published within the framework of state programme «Rukhani zhangyru» and the Presidential article «Seven facets of Great Steppe», then the conference participants were given these books. The event was attended by scientists, professors, faculty, PHD and M.A. students of higher educational institutions (Al-Farabi Kazakh national university, Abai Kazakh national pedagogical university, Kazakh state women’s teacher training university, Almaty university of energy and communications) and research institutions of Astana, Atyrau, Shymkent, Almaty cities, and the lead and staff of corporation «Atamura», veterans, fellow workers of city institutions, representatives of public organizations and parties, chairmen of famous foundations, prominent public figures and entrepreneurs, staff of the Institute, and also citizens, having an interest in history.

On 10 December, 2018 in the Holy City of Turkestan, in the centre of Turkistan region international scientific scientific and theoretical conference was held under deeply symbolic title «Astana. President. Independence». It was co-organized by Kh.A. Yssawi IKTU and Ch.Ch.Valikhanov Institute of history and ethnology. Scientific Forum was held with a view to practical implementation new article of the Head of State «Seven facets of Great Steppe». There was presented new book of Z.E. Kabuldinov «History of Astana». The author of the national emblem of Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Malibekov presented new national emblem with word «Qazaqstan» on the Latin script.

Students of the 4th course of the Faculty of History visited the museum of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University after studying the course "The fate of scientists and teachers  Al-FarabiKazNU” and they also learned a lot of important information about their alma-mater.
