The Department of History of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", government regulations and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, long-term rules for the development of the University, decisions of the Academic Councils of the University, trains bachelors, masters and doctoral students at the Kazakh and Russian departments of the Faculty of History. Also, the faculty of the department gives lectures on the history of Kazakhstan to first-year students of the humanitarian and technical faculties of the University and conducts seminars. The educational process of all teachers is conducted according to the work program and the standard program. Teachers are constantly updating their work programs in accordance with new requirements.

At the Faculty of History, as well as at other faculties where teachers of the department teach, the educational process is conducted on the basis of standard programs. Teachers of the department use new methods to check the level of education of students during the educational process. The teachers of the department actively use the scientific results obtained in the course of their scientific work in the educational process.
