On May 29, 2021, as part of the annual traditional Alumni Day, an online meeting was held with graduates of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where graduates of the faculty who celebrated the 50-40-30-20 anniversary of graduation from the university took part.

The event was held based on the Zoom platform under the moderation of the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Professor D. B. Zhakebayev, who on behalf of the Rector of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor Zh. K. Tuimebayev congratulated all graduates on a significant day.

The meeting of the graduates began with the greeting of the images of the deans who once headed the faculty, which undoubtedly caused nostalgic feelings among the participants of the holiday.

Then the participants of the conference were presented with a congratulatory video from the former Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kairat Mami.

Deputy of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhumagulov-graduate of 1979, who were voiced by Doctor of Ph. D., Professor N. M. Temirbekov , conveyed his congratulations and parting words.

Words of gratitude were expressed to those graduates of the faculty, with the financial support of which the classrooms 324 and 321 were equipped. Now these are named classrooms-the classrooms of Ph. D., professors, laureates of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academicians of the Engineering Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan- Sh. S. Smagulov and N. T. Danaev, respectively. Also, the participants were presented with a video dedicated to the opening of these audiences.

Words of gratitude were expressed, and the graduates-anniversaries shared their precious memories of the faculty, for whom in the future, the best graduate of the faculty of 2021 – Bekzat Sultan presented his musical gift.

The year 2021 is also remembered for the 90th anniversary of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, outstanding mechanical scientist, prominent state, public and political figure, major organizer of science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Scientist of the Kazakh SSR, laureate of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR-Umirbek Arslanovich Dzholdasbekov. In honor of the 90th anniversary of U. A. Dzholdasbekov, the conference participants were presented with a 7-minute video about the life and achievements of the great scientist.

The event ended with the author's video clip for the song "Armandastar" dedicated to the graduates of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
