Faculty of Mechanics and mathematics of NAO "al-Farabi Kazakh National University" is holding an Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in mechanics on December 14-15, 2020.
The purpose of the Olympiad: to reveal creative abilities, select and support the most talented and gifted students; to promote the formation of intellectual potential of students; to attract students and young scientists to solve scientific problems of our time; to develop interest in scientific activities.

Format of the Olympiad: at the Olympiad, students will have access to a document with three tasks. For students of technical universities and students of 2nd courses of specialty mechanics will be provided with 3 problems in theoretical mechanics for students of 3rd and 4th year degree in mechanical 3 tasks where the first task in theoretical mechanics, the second problem in mechanics of materials (strength of materials), the third problem in mechanics of fluid and gas.
The working languages of the Olympiad are Kazakh and Russian.
Registration for the Olympiad
Registration will be available until 11: 00 on December 14. a link to Google ClassRoom will be sent to the e-mail left during registration, where the task and conditions for passing the Olympiad will be posted. The Olympiad will be monitored on the zoom platform.
