November 2, 2019 at 19.00 in the House of Students No. 6 held an open lecture about the new specialty "Robotic systems" as part of the event "Days of the Department of Mechanics in the hostel."

  The lecture was held by the coordinator of the educational program "Robotic systems", acting Professor Zhumasheva Zh.T. and teacher B. Sagizhanov, Department of Mechanics, Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty.

  Currently, for the first time in Kazakhstan, in KazNU named after Al-Farabi, which is a leading university in the country that has sufficient scientific, educational, material and technical potential, has opened an educational program called Robotic Systems (undergraduate, graduate) programs at the Department of Mechanics.

  Currently, robotics is turning into one of the key areas of development of science, engineering and technology, which in the XXI century will determine the scientific, technical, industrial and defense potential of the state.

  Lecturers said that, "Robotic systems" - one of the most popular specialties of our time, a real profession of the future, because this specialty is interdisciplinary, standing on three pillars - mechanics, information systems and electronics.

  At the end of the lecture, students of the Department of Mechanics presented their scientific projects to the audience:

- “Smart Glove”, Ubaidullaev Bauyrzhan, 2nd year student of the specialty “Robotic systems”;

- “KazRoboBot”, Дaut Дildabek, 2nd year student of the specialty “Mechanics”;

- “Delta Robot”, Altynbek Zharmukhamet, 3rd year student of the specialty “Space Engineering and Technology”.
