Master students specialization "Geoenergy" Department of Mechanics of Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Zarina Turtaeva, Maksum Elaman, Bergentaev Didar, Eldana, etc.) From 01 to 03 June 2018, they had practical training at the uranium mining plant at the Tortkuduk deposit, operated by KATKO JV LLP.
LLP "JV" KATKO "is a joint venture of the French company AREVA (51% of shares) and the National Atomic Company" Kazatomprom "(49% of the shares) founded in 1996, with the aim of conducting work on the development and production of uranium at the Moyinkum and Tortkuduk deposits in South -Kazakhstan region.
At the end of the internship, all students were awarded certificates indicating the successful completion of the internship.
