The conference was dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the Great thinker of the East, the ancestor of all the Turks, who was born in the vast lands of Kazakhstan-Abu Nasr Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Farabi. Five key topics were discussed at this conference:
1. Biography of an outstanding thinker of the East;
2. Creativity and works of the Outstanding thinker of the East;
3. The main philosophical concepts of the Outstanding thinker of the East;
4. Contribution of the Outstanding thinker of the East to the development of sciences;
5. Al-Farabi through the eyes of his contemporaries.
