Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty and the Republican Project Office "Sanaly Urpaq" invites you to take part in the international scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of combating corruption", timed to the International Anti-Corruption Day, dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Law, Professor Gulnara Rakhimzhanovna Useinova, scientific consultant of the Research Institute of "Anti-Corruption Technologies", coordinator of the Republican Project Office "Sanaly Urpaq", head of the project "Adal Komek" in Almaty, which will be held on December 8, 2021 at 10:00 o'clock.

 

The following issues are planned to be considered at the conference:

• Problems of defining the concept and essence of corruption as a social phenomenon in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Diversity of approaches to understanding corruption;
• International legal and national experience in the formation of an anti-corruption culture: analysis of legislation and legal practice;
• Problems of legal education and legal education as the basis for the formation of integrity of the subjects of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• The mechanism of formation of an anti-corruption culture in the education system. The role of civil society in the formation of an anti-corruption culture.

 
Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian and English.

 
The conference will be attended by representatives of the highest and local legislative, judicial and executive authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international and national experts, representatives of the civil community, universities and the media.
