CSD 15. Life on land

April 22, 2023

According to the 2019 Global Assessment of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Report, about 1 million species of animals and plants are at risk of extinction, and many of them are at risk of extinction over the coming decades. The report calls for significant changes to restore and protect nature. As the report found, the health of the ecosystems on which we and all other species depend is deteriorating faster than ever, affecting the very foundations of our economy, livelihoods, food security, health and quality of life around the world.

Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, on April 22, 2023, a subbotnik was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, teachers and students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
