CSD 9. Industry, innovation and infrastructure

To achieve sustainable development, investments in infrastructure are required, with the help of which it is possible to empower citizens, their access to modern technologies and their connection with the world. Improving infrastructure means an increase in living standards, medical and educational services, as well as new technological opportunities such as mobile communications and the Internet.

  • Daniyar Shadykhanov, a student of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, is implementing the Smart-Kelisim project dedicated to the digitalization of the judicial and legal system.

The innovative startup is aimed at forming a market for new contracts in the country and considering alternative ways to resolve the dispute. It also provides for the introduction of automatic contracts in the field of public procurement and in transactions. The peculiarity of the contract is that it is written and executed not in the language of the law, but in a programming language.

"Our goal is to optimize the judicial and legal system based on smart contracts. This innovative solution is a new experience not only in the country, but also in the international market. Therefore, we are conducting a comprehensive study to create demand in the market," says the young scientist.

According to the author of the project, a smart contract is a transaction-an agreement written in an electronic programming language and expressing the will of the parties in the block chain. The parties draw up and enter into a contract in the appropriate information complex. The obligations stipulated in it are fulfilled automatically. In addition, since the possibility of changing this contract is limited, it has evidentiary force in court. This means replacing the work of lawyers, notaries, consultants.

The global mission of the project is to expand the field of artificial intelligence based on Blockchain technology. Currently, work is underway to differentiate the technical and scientific-theoretical capabilities of this project.
