Al-Farabi Kazakh National University congratulates its 3rd year student Hanalieva Sabina Zakir-gyzy for taking an honorable third place in the Republican Student Language Olympiad. Well done Sabina, keep up the good job!
Republican Student Language Olympiad is an educational event organized every year by Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. This Olympiad aims to help students work collaboratively, to improve their language knowledge, to practice their language problem-solving skills in preparation for brighter future. It consists of two levels in which participants from different universities compete for recognition and high results by demonstrating their knowledge of the language and its literature and history. Each level is a challenging task that pushes everyone to think brighter, act quicker, speak more expressive and work really hard to get the desired recognition.
We are truly happy that our students were highly motivated and eager to make it and couldn’t be vice versa as the Olympiad provides the students with

- · great experience
- · great preparation for future challenges
- · the chance to improve critical thinking skills
It is not the first time our university takes part in this language contest. This year our team was prepared by highly qualified teachers. Our team of high caliber teachers used every bit of energy teaching and guiding our students who successfully demonstrated their potential, showed deep knowledge of language skills and critical thinking skills. Our thanks go to everyone who stood by the side of our students motivating and supporting them throughout the Olympiad.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University would like to express its gratitude to the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages for organizing this paramount event, for letting our students do something modern and challenging.
Our special thanks go to the Dean of the University and to the Event Planner Ph.D., Professor Islam Aybarsha. It is really challenging to organize something like that on a big scale.
It should be mentioned that it has been a unique experience for all of us that brought another prospective in terms of competitions and international communication. It was great to see all the enthusiasm and creativity put into this event. The whole process was smooth and flawlessly prepared and carried out. We definitely will try harder next time and of course we are looking forward to our future participation.
Our university, KazNu, represented by rector Mutanov Galymkair Mutanovich, wishes our students further success that they really deserve.
